The indexing principle of the indexing chuck is: the combined hydraulic cylinder in the chuck body can realize the clamping of the jaws, indexing, locking and positioning, and releasing. In order to index and lock the workpiece,there are indexing piston cylinder and positioning piston cylinder in the combined cylinder, and the pressure oil enters the cylinder body through the oil separator. Each of the upper and lower ends of the chuck is equipped with a jaw for clamping the workpiece, one of the jaws is connected with the indexing block, the block and the angle of the jaw are moved by the indexing piston, the positioning piston is locked and positioned, and the angle and locking action Interlock, that is, complete the automatic indexing, rotation angle and locking positioning of the workpiece. The other jaw is connected with the clamping piston, and the workpiece is clamped and unclamped through the reset movement of the piston.
The feature of the indexing chuck is that it can realize automatic indexing in one clamping, and perform multi-faceted transposition and multi-process processing on the workpiece. According to the requirements of different shapes of workpieces, it can also be designed and assembled into different equal parts of automatic rotation indexing.
Many of our valve bodies have similar structures at both ends and require high coaxiality. When machining on a CNC lathe with a normal hydraulic chuck, the #valvebody needs to be turned manually and clamped several times to complete the machining.
